Yuyuan Garden

Here's a few images from the small but impressive Yuyuan garden in central Shanghai built in what is known as the Suzhou style.
Although this garden is notorious for being crowded at all times thru-out the year I feel its a great introduction to the amazing tradition of Chinese gardens as it has all the main features that is associated with a classic Chinese garden. After seeing this garden we were sure that a trip to the small city of Suzhou (which is birth place of the Chinese garden) would be a great way to appreciate the true spirit of these gardens.
